Liturgical Arts Renewal@Collins (LARC) is an ongoing series of worship resource events here at the Alton L. Collins Retreat Center. Nationally-known leaders from across the country will facilitate intense, one-cay workshops designed to offer practical tools for anyone involved in worship leadership: preachers, choir directors, banner-mkers, song leaders, organists, worshp team members, scripture readers, and more. Regardless of your particular style of worshp, LARC will help you understand how to integrate creative arts and solid theology into weekly worship that has passion and integrity.
LARC features an emphasis on team planning for worship; the series is designed to be especially helpful for clergy/lay collaboration.
Each event begins at 9:00 am and concludes by 4:00 pm, with a bonus overnight and evening with the clinicians as an optional add-on preceding the program.
The cost for each program in 2012 is $65 for a full day of workshops, resources, and interaction with nationally known worship leaders in the small-group setting here at Collins. This includes an excellent lunch and full use of our retreat facilities. The optional overnight is priced at just $65, which is the standard cost of double-occupancy lodging with dinner and breakfast. As a bonus, for no additional fee you'll also receive the opportunity for an extra afternoon workshop (scheduled for 4:30 pm the day before the regular LARC session), dinner with the clinicians, and an evening program. The overnight option is available for the evening preceding the event. Just click the green button below to register online now!
Continuing Education Units (CEU's) for LARC are available at no additional charge; each event offers .5 CEU. Be sure to select this option on the registration form--click the green button below to register for LARC.
