Todd Pick
TODD PICK is an award-winning graphic designer who views artistic expression as a vehicle for proclamation and prayer. He has a passion for creating liturgical art that supports and enhances the act of worship. Todd currently serves as the pastor of the Lake Mahopac United Methodist Church in Putnam County, New York. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Drew Theological School where he was artist-in-residence from 2007 to 2009. During his tenure at Drew he worked on staff in Craig Chapel, was a workshop leader for the Summer Music Institute, and a teaching assistant for the Rev. Dr. Heather Murray Elkins. He received the Robert Jehu Bull Prize for his church history studies and was twice awarded the Hoyt L. Hickman/Order of Saint Luke Award for Liturgical Studies.
Todd has served as the artistic director for various annual conferences within the United Methodist Church and is the visual artist for the 2012 General Conference. He has created worship centers, paraments, banners, and logo designs for churches across the country. In addition, he works with local churches to reclaim the visual arts as a ministry of the laity. As a member of the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts, Todd has been the featured artist at several events including Music and Liturgical Arts Week at Lake Junaluska and the 2009 National Convocation in Orlando. Todd graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. Before entering the ministry he worked in advertising and web design where he received the London International Advertising Award in 2001.
