Alton L Collins Retreat Center is located approximately 45 minutes from the Portland International Airport (PDX).

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From the Portland International Airport:

  • Head southeast onto NE Airport Way and drive 2.1 miles. 
  • Merge onto I-205 via the ramp to I-84/Portland/Salem
  • Take exit 12A for OR-212E/OR-224 toward Clackamas/Estacada.
  • Merge onto Clackamas Hwy/OR-212/OR-224 and drive 3.2 miles.
  • When Hwy 224 and 212 split, turn right to take Clackamas Hwy/OR-224 (toward Estacada) and drive 9.7 miles
  • Turn left at OR-211 (toward Sandy/Mt. Hood) and drive 2.4 miles.
  • The Center entrance is on the left at the bottom of a steep ravine, just before crossing Deep Creek.

From I-5 North or South:

  • Get onto I-205

From I-84 East:

  • Take exit 16 toward Wood Village
  • Turn left at NE 238th
  • Turn left at Powell Blvd/Highway 26
  • Continue on Hwy 26 to the west edge of Sandy
  • Turn right at 362nd Avenue and drive for 1.8 miles.
  • Turn right at Highway 211 and drive for 1.7 miles
  • The Center entrance is on the right at the bottom of a steep ravine, just after crossing Deep Creek.

RENTAL CAR INFORMATION

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Portland's light rail system, MAX, runs to PDX. From the Gresham Central Transit Center, a free bus (SAM) is available to Sandy, about 10 minutes from the Retreat Center. For a nominal fee, transportation can be arranged between Sandy and the Retreat Center--contact us directly to make arrangements.
